2006 is the 250th anniversary or the birth of Mozart. The Brisbane Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Artistic Director Antoni Bonetti, honours the anniversary with a programme entitled Homage to Mozart.

- Piano Concerto No. 20, Mvt II - W A Mozart
- Mozartiana (Suite No. 4) - Tchaikovsky
- A Memoria de Mozart (Sinfonietta No. 1) - Villa-Lobos
- Symphony No. 40 in G minor - Mozart
Admission: $25 ($20 concession). Refreshments follow.
Brisbane Symphony Orchestra (formerly Brisbane Sinfonia) was formed in 1990 in response to the need for an orchestra capable of professional performance standards which draws on the talent and energy of people from all walks of life.
Brisbane Symphony Orchestra's annual concert program provides an entertaining mix of standard orchestral repertoire and lesser-known works, including contemporary Australian composers.
